This is Meowie, Casey's cat.
I sent this picture to her in a letter, 'cos I'm uncreative and couldn't think of anything else to write to her about.
It was (along with a gift to Casey, of course) a practice in making things look like the things they're supposed to look like. Or something. Adapting a real kitty to a cartoon style. I'd been trying to draw Sagwa earlier in the day, so that's where some of the style came from.
I was scared to use my watercolour pencils on my sketch, but it turned out well and it helped the colours blend some.

I edited the hell out of this in GIMP, but that's only because my scanner is terrible and I was trying to make the colours more accurate to the original thing.
