Hi-Res HHG screenshots = AWESOME.

I made this up really quickly with a book quote and some fancy fontage. I quite like it.

EDIT: Except, of course, for the typo... It's meant to be "boiling into space". I don't proofread. It's still purty.

Wow...I saw this scene for a split second in one of the trailers, and it really got my attention. I have to see the movie now...

Now that I'm looking at this picture, I'm starting to wonder why Arthur and Marvin's shadows don't seem to be falling in the same direction as the other shadows...

And don't you think there'd be twice as many shadows, with two suns?

Hah, that's a good point. Whatever excuse Lucas used for Tatooine, let's go with that one.

"You found the notice, didn't you?"
"Yes. It was on display at the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on a door saying 'Beware of the leopard'. Ever thought of going into advertising?"

So how was the movie? I loved the books but have a feeling it won't live up to them :( Did hollywood ruin it? Cool desktop by the way

It was all right. I liked the TV show better, but Slartibartfast in this one was fantastic. I didn't at all hate the movie - I'm going to see it every week of the summer once it hits the bargain cinema. =D

From what a lot of my friends have been telling me they left out a lot of the jokes or didn’t elaborate on them :( I’m hoping the DVD has an extended Directors Cut that keeps it truer to the book
